Neck stem?

I ride a lot of different styles of motorcycles. From Japanese choppers to Harley cruisers and I want to be able to put springers on all of them. For that reason I made my springers to fit any and all makes and models ( to a certain extent). This does come with one draw back and that is that YOU need to do a little measuring.

Traditionally neck stems come in 2 basic sizes. 7/8" for most Japanese and British bikes and 1" for most American manufacturers.

To determine the length of the stem, simply measure from the bottom bearing cup, to the top bearing cup and add 1-1/4" to the measurement.

The best and most accurate way to measure the neck stem that is currently on your bike is to use a set of calipers or micrometers. If you do not have access to them or do not know how to use them. I would suggest taking your bike to a local machine shop or mechanic and asking them to measure it for you.

If you are proficient with google and feel comfortable with information gathered from the internet that will also work.

BUT BE CAREFUL the first one is free but the 2nd one will cost you. $60 plus shipping.
